Job Description
Braemar College is an independent coeducational ecumenical school for students in Years 5 to 12. The College has two campuses both of which arelocated near Woodend less than an hour from Melbournes CBD.
The successful candidate will experience working in one of the most unique educational settings and teach committed and passionate students. We continue to embed a culture of personalised learning with an integrated approach to achieve high standards of learning and teaching for all students.

The position is parttime commencing in Term 3 from 21 July 2025.
The teaching allotment includes two classes of Year 7 French and we are open to discussion based on candidate preference.
About You:
The College seeks an outstanding teacher who is knowledgeable and passionate about the French curriculum and current pedagogical thinking. It is expected that you will:
- Have an enthusiastic approach to the education of young people including a focus on developing skills and underpinning knowledge.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the French curriculum through to VCE.
- Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with language staff delivering French programs across the school.
- Show a willingness andthe capacityto contribute to the wellbeing of students.
- Be open to the possibilities of teaching in flexible learning spaces.
- Display innovation in curriculum and collaborative learning approaches.
- Have a tertiary teaching qualification that enables you to teach French.
- Display an individual learning disposition that strives for continual improvement.
- Be a current VIT registered teacher graduates are welcome to apply.
In addition the preferred applicant will have an understanding of and commitment to the ethos of Independent Schooling and a willingness to contribute to College events and adhere to the Colleges Child Safety Policy.
