Job Description

Were looking for a director to accelerate and help lead our lifecycle marketing efforts by handson scaling and optimization of our user lifecycle working with our inhouse creative team to systematically improve our performance and identify and test a myriad of new ideas that will help drive greater user retention and monetization. Were looking for datadriven problem solvers with a growth mindset willing to stretch their comfort levels evolve best practices and move quickly with attention to detail to do big things. Were looking for thought leaders to guide lifecycle strategy and ideas who can execute quickly and methodically to shape our approach to testing and growth. We have an ambitious mission to build radically affordable financial tools to help the next generation of wealth builders score.

This is a fulltime position in our San Francisco HQ with benefits and equity in a fastmoving and fastgrowing environment that will help you grow your abilities and career as you help build a better ecosystem of credit for our customers.

What youll do:

  • Help grow and lead lifecycle marketing at a fast growing fintech unicorn across two brands.

  • Build out brand new lifecycle programs for untouched segments and use cases for our user base and growing number of new products and features; helping to define the strategic focus of the team.

  • Optimize current lifecycle campaigns that drive retention and monetization and engagement.

  • Rigorously test and improve our lifecycle campaigns with rapid experimentation

  • Improve the segmentation cadence timing and touch point mix of our comms

  • Work crossfunctionally to bring campaigns to life: working with designers copywriters product team data analysts and more.

Who you are:

  • 10 years of a proven track record of driving towards growth goals under set targets and timelines in a lifecycle or CRM role.

  • Excellent leader and manager of talent. Understand how to prioritize for teams and set crisp success metrics and goals.

  • Technical datadriven fast moving and first principled thinker.

  • Masterful understanding of tests and measurements and has a nose for discovering opportunity from data and insights.

  • Ability to set strategic lifecycle marketing plans and roadmaps and new lifecycle programs from scratch and iteratively finding where lifecycle can drive the most value.

  • Ability to define key marketing KPIs and break them down into their underlying drivers to understand and influence performance from first principles.

  • Strategic thinker able to breakdown and organize problems assess opportunity areas and develop big ideas and priorities to move the business forward.

  • Understanding of hypothesis driven A/B MVT and holdout testing with the ability to analyze test result data to tease out learnings and insights to inform future testing.

  • Understanding of what makes effective and strong direct response creative with a framework to keep adjusting and learning based on experimentation.

  • SQL proficient to be able to pull your own data and crossvalidate results.
