We are looking for our next inspiring leader in the Food & Beverage Department. Our new Restaurant and Bar Manager will support the Director of F&B (DOFB) in the overall supervision of all the food and beverage operations: Restaurant Cocktail Bar Oak Hall Vardons Bar & Room Service. The Restaurant and Bar Manager will oversee guest and employee satisfaction maintaining standards and meeting or exceeding financial goals. The titleholder will demonstrate knowledge and proficiency of all applicable food and beverage laws and regulations; they will with the support of the DOFB develop and implement the business plan for food and beverage operations.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

  • Manages the daytoday operations of the Food and Beverage outlets: Restaurant Cocktail Bar Oak Hall Vardons Bar & Room Service
  • Line management responsibilities for all levels F&B Leaders to F&B Service Experts. Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees absence as well as maintain the strategy for the department in conjunction with the DOFB.
  • Provides excellent customer service and responds proactively to guests concerns whilst understanding the brands service culture.
  • Provides guidance and direction to associates including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
  • Supports the DOFB with the recruitment and retention process
  • Identifies the developmental needs of others and coaches mentors or otherwise helps others to improve their knowledge or skills.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the food and beverage culinary or related professional area.

OR

  • 2year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management Hotel and Restaurant Management Hospitality Business Administration or related major; 2 years experience in the food and beverage culinary or related professional area.
