Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed both major and minor which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Design implement and execute complex recurring or ad hoc reports analyses data systemrelated or operational tasks in accordance with departmental processes and controls.
2. Investigate and research unexplained variations in reports data systems etc. Explain results of reports and research to department management and other stakeholders.
3. Develop and administer controls to ensure the integrity of departmental process. Evaluate and recommend improvements to departmental processes.
4. Assist with development of departmental documentation particularly for highly complex and technical activities.
5. Serve as a consultative resource on risk reporting data system or related issues. Engage with stakeholders to identify business objectives and scope solution requirements.
6. Lead moderate projects with heightened risks complexity and resource requirements; play significant roles in larger initiatives.
7. Mentor less experienced teammates to build their own technical expertise.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree or equivalent
2. 7 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Deep specialized and/or broad knowledge within a professional discipline. Solid understanding of key business processes and strategies.
4. Knowledge of the industrys competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that shape the industry.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders.
6. Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical operational and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities.
7. Ability to lead moderately complex projects. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Graduate degree in related field
2. 9 years of related experience
3. Previous experience in banking with specific emphasis on reporting business intelligence systems technology data risk compliance or related areas
4. Relevant professional or technical certifications
5. Advanced skills in data wrangling data engineering data science or related areas. Experience with languages and tools such as Python SQL SAS Qlik Tableau etc.
