Position Summary
The Reservation Specialist provides onsite administrative and client support to events scheduled through Event Services. The position is customerfacing in a busy Student Union and requires a highly professional enthusiastic and teamoriented individual. This position will support the Reservation Manager in supervising student staff. The position will be essential in efficiently processing the high volume of venue requests received by Reservations for Carolina Union managed spaces. This position will also support the invoice process to ensure accurate and timely release of invoices from Event Services. This position will also be required to run reports on the Carolina Unions event scheduling software and filter data to the appropriate parties. This position will provide consistent desk coverage during peak class time when student staff are unavailable.
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Experience in event scheduling event management experience or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Experience with 25Live and Microsoft 365. Experience working in a student union or similar environments. Experience working in a customer servicefocused environment. Knowledge and awareness of event management and technical event production. Experience working in a customer servicefocused environment.
Work Schedule
5day work week 7 paid hours per day with a onehour unpaid break or 4day work week 8.75 paid hours per day with a onehour unpaid lunch break. Some evenings and weekends advance notice provided
