Requirements:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in building construction.
- Experience working for a large building contractor with project sizes of R400 Million and above.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Successfully oversee all senior site staff and foremen assigned to your site.
- Ensure project deadlines are adhered to by closely managing the schedule and promptly notifying the contracts manager of any deviations as soon as they are identified.
- Make sure all procurement is handled according to the schedule with purchase orders obtained in line with the companys process.
- Source and evaluate materials managing the process through the BOQ and allowable documentation.
- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors and suppliers evaluate their claims and submit payment certificates to the QS department on time following company procedures.
- Monitor the sites Health & Safety through proper channels ensuring compliance and collaborating with safety officers.
