Position Overview:
We are looking for a Freelance Social Media & Brand Engagement Specialisteither an individual consultant or a marketing agencyto enhance our organic digital presence grow our audience and engage key industry professionals. You will be responsible for developing and executing a datadriven organic social media strategy that strengthens brand awareness promotes thought leadership and increases engagement within the tech AI and data analytics industries.

This is a parttime contract role (estimated 1015 hours per week) with a monthly retainer reporting directly to the Director of Operations and HR.

Note: This role is specifically for candidates based in the USA or Latin America due to our companys timezone work schedule and team collaboration. Resumes must be in English applications with nonEnglish resumes will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Community Growth

  • Build and nurture relationships with influencers thought leaders podcasters and YouTube hosts to expand our brands visibility.

  • Monitor industry conversations competitor activity and trending topics to position Blue Orange Digital as a leader in data analytics and AI.

  • Engage with our Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs) fostering meaningful interactions that support lead nurturing and brand credibility.

Content Creation & Thought Leadership Promotion

  • Promote content developed by our leadership sales and engineering teams including blog posts whitepapers case studies and speaking engagements.

  • Develop engaging shareable content (text graphics and shortform videos) that aligns with our brands tone and audience interests.

  • Design and distribute visually compelling content such as infographics data visualizations and company culture highlights.

  • Create and repurpose content from sales decks to make key insights more accessible and engaging for social media audiences.

  • Support the promotion of live webinars Q&A sessions and industry events ensuring strong engagement before during and after events.

Engagement & Community Interaction

  • Actively engage with our audience by responding to comments participating in discussions and resharing relevant content.

  • Run interactive campaigns (polls surveys hashtag challenges AMAs Stories) to encourage audience participation.

  • Encourage employee advocacy by providing precrafted shareable content that team members can post on their personal profiles.

Collaboration & CrossFunctional Support

  • Work closely with the content marketing and sales teams to align social media efforts with broader content strategies.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure key messaging from sales decks is effectively translated into social media content.

  • Assist in the amplification of partnerships and collaborations ensuring joint initiatives receive maximum visibility.

Analytics & Continuous Optimization

  • Use social media analytics tools to track performance measure engagement and provide actionable insights.

  • Deliver monthly reports summarizing key social media metrics and strategic recommendations for improvement.

  • Continuously optimize content strategies based on engagement trends and audience feedback.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Success in this role will be measured by:
Follower growth & engagement rates on LinkedIn Twitter and YouTube
Increase in content shares & mentions by industry influencers and partners
Growth in website traffic from organic social media channels
Number of industry conversations & collaborations initiated via social media

Tools & Platforms
Preferred tools include:
Analytics & Insights: LinkedIn Analytics Twitter Analytics Google Analytics
Content Creation: Canva Adobe Suite Figma

Requirements
Proven experience in social media marketing digital marketing or PR ideally in the tech AI or data analytics industry
Strong expertise in managing LinkedIn Twitter and YouTube for brand growth
Excellent content creation skills (writing design and light video editing)
Experience with influencer outreach & media partnerships
Ability to analyze performance data and refine strategies accordingly
Highly organized proactive and able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in B2B marketing SaaS or AIdriven industries
Certifications in Social Media Marketing or Digital Marketing
Understanding of SEO principles for social media optimization

Contract & Compensation Details
Estimated workload: 1015 hours per week
Payment structure: Monthly retainer (based on experience)
Remote role flexible schedule

Hourly Rate: $20.00 USD (negotiable depending on experience and qualifications).
