Up to $5000 SignOn Bonus
Location: UHealth Tower
Shift Days: Monday through Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM with occasional Saturdays.
The Clinical Dietitian 1 (H) coordinates plans and conducts programs to educate patients about nutrition. Additionally the Clinical Dietitian administers medical nutrition therapy and advises food service operations for
assigned facilities.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS:
Plans menus and inspects food to ensure portions adhere to set restrictions and dietary standards.
Assesses patients nutritional status and develops individualized nutritional plans.
Assists in managing family dynamics and coping mechanisms during acute and chronic phases of patients care.
Triages patients to determine the urgency of physician evaluation. Documents and reports care in an accurate and timely fashion.
Collaborates with the development of educational materials.
Identifies and accounts for specific ethnic cultural and religious needs. Responds to resolves and follows up regarding patient inquiries or concerns.
Adheres to University and unitlevel policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree in Dietetics
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) by Commission on Dietetic Registration
State Licensure (LDN) by the State of Florida Department of Health
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
Knowledge Skills and Attitudes:
Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
Ability to analyze organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to work evenings nights and weekends as necessary.
