Position Details:

  • Job Title: Actuarial Pricing
  • Function/Department:Actuarial
  • Location:Bangalore India
  • Employment Type:Fulltime
  • Reports To:Europe Team Lead CBSI
  • Role Overview Pricing for UKI Property Team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a key collaborator of the Europe Property Actuarial Pricing team on essential pricing tasks including price monitoring individual case pricing portfolio analysis planning and dashboard upkeep.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews to evaluate the performance of the product assessing profitability loss ratios and emerging trends.
  • Actively attend all pricing meetings and address all queries raised by the pricing actuaries and business heads.
  • Utilize actuarial techniques and data analytics for analysis of experience.
  • Prepare detailed pricing and portfolio analysis reports for pricing actuaries underwriters and other key stakeholders; clearly communicating assumptions methodologies and results.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives refining portfolio review process and improving efficiency.
  • Management responsibility of junior Chubb India staff (where required).

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Highly motivated great teammate able to deal with different professional backgrounds and adaptable to a fastpaced environment.
  • Undergraduate degree in any analytical discipline such as Mathematics Actuarial Science Statistics etc.
  • Qualified or nearly qualified actuary with 8 years relevant actuarial work experience in Property & Casualty insurance.
  • Experience in pricing and portfolio management activities.
  • Commercial insurance knowledge required and catastrophe risk knowledge advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in various software (e.g. Microsoft Office VBA R SQL Qliksense/Qlikview) and actuarial tools (e.g. Radar).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Effective interpersonal skills ability to manage competing projects meet deadlines and work independently.
