Job Description
What youll be able to do:
- Collaborate with Engineering Design and Manufacturing teams to develop innovative engineering solutions that enable integrated vehicle systems efficient manufacturing processes and key styling themes
- Develop and prototype concepts that improve product cost mass efficiency manufacturability serviceability and user experience
- Drive cross functional product architecture trades between vehicle subsystems (interiors closures chassis thermal powertrain electrical distribution etc. to determine product direction
- Identify and resolve geometrical incompatibilities between systems through first principles and concept 3D
- Collaborate with engineers designers technicians and suppliers to procure and build physical properties
Responsibilities
The minimum requirements we seek:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Automotive Engineering or equivalent
- 5 years experience in automotive or related field EV preferred
- Strong engineering fundamentals and ability to apply broadly to vehicle systems and manufacturing processes
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic work environment
- CAD proficiency in assembly and part design FEA and 2D drawings. Catia and 3D Experience preferred
Qualifications
Our preferred requirements:
- Experience designing and releasing mechanical and electromechanical systems
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong proficiency in Atlassian tools (Confluence JIRA)
- Strong verbal and written communication
