Job Description
Tasks
- Manage and operate DB2 databases ensuring performance backups and overall stability
- Apply advanced DB2 features such as compression partitioning and XML handling to improve efficiency
- Handle incidents and changes through tools like ServiceNow following established ITSM processes
- Automate routine maintenance tasks and monitoring using scripting languages
- Communicate effectively in English with global teams and document technical work clearly
Requirements
- Strong experience with DB2 database administration and operations
- Knowledge of advanced database features like compression techniques partitioning and XML data management
- Familiarity with incident and change management platforms such as ServiceNow
- Proficiency in scripting and automation for database maintenance and monitoring
- English fluency
