Job Summary:
We are hiring a skilled SQL DBA to lead high-availability database architecture migration to AWS and support critical enterprise systems. The ideal candidate should have expertise in SQL Server HA/DR strategies Always On deployment and performance optimization in AWS environments.
Roles and Responsibilities:-
Understand requirements and translate them into design documents and backlog items.

Lead a small team to deliver sprint commitments.

Design and implement Always On - Multi-node SQL Server cluster setups.

Ensure high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) planning.

Migrate on-prem SQL instances to AWS-managed SQL services.

Establish and maintain database development best practices.

Provide technical leadership and enforce code standards.

Perform after-hours maintenance and deployment activities.

Maintain database performance availability and security.

SQL Server DBA with 5 7 years experience

Always On multi-node cluster deployment

High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) planning

SQL Server on AWS managed services and migration from on-prem

Database development standards and performance tuning

Hands-on experience with release management and production support
(Same as mandatory depth of experience across deployment migration security and optimization in enterprise environments)
