Job Description
- Shift: Rotating; 12hr Shift
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2160 $2304
Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiographic exams including 2D Mmode Doppler and color flow imaging.
- Analyze images and provide preliminary reports for physician review.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate echocardiography equipment.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Participate in oncall rotations as needed.
- Stay updated on advancements in echocardiography and maintain required certifications.
- Graduation from an AMAapproved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography.
- Minimum of one year of radiologic/imaging experience.
- Specialized experience and training in Cardiac Sonography.
- Registered or registryeligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
- Current BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Maintains all required state and federal registries and licenses.
- Proficiency with major medical sonography equipment including manufacturers hardware and software.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Departmentspecific training required.
- Strong interpersonal organizational and communication skills (written and verbal).
