Job Description
We are seeking a (Nurse Supervisor LTC) for a 08weeks travel/contract assignment in Oswego New York 13126. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome to apply.
Job Details:
- Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM 12hour Night Shifts)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2124 $2304
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on assigned shift.
- Ensure that resident care needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor and support the delivery of highquality compassionate care.
- Handle staffing issues assign nursing duties and ensure proper coverage.
- Respond to emergencies resident concerns and incident reports appropriately.
- Communicate effectively with physicians families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies federal and state regulations.
- Document nursing actions accurately and timely.
- Participate in shift reports and ensure proper handoffs between shifts.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Active RN License in the State of New York.
- Minimum 1 year of RN supervisory experience in a LongTerm Care (LTC) setting.
- One year of Medical/Surgical and Gerontology experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Current BLS/CPR certification. Required
- Excellent leadership organizational and communication skills.
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates outside a 50mile radius qualify for travel pay.
