Our client is a leading visa services company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
Perform security risk evaluations for the transfer activities of VACs and passport/VAF documents across different centers and Post offices.
Develop and implement processes aligned with the Corporate Security Strategy and policies across the assigned zone.
Act as a liaison with local Posts and government entities.
Monitor and ensure that critical service levels are achieved and contractual terms are fulfilled reporting any deviations through the incident reporting system.
Ensure adherence to applicable information security standards and procedures.
Oversee security planning resource deployment and the training of security teams in the designated region.
Prepare and submit regular securityrelated reports and support MIS data compilation.
Provide timely MIS updates on key performance metrics and promptly address any security concerns.
Maintain Critical Service Level3 records for UK VACs and ensure accurate reporting.
Assist in internal investigations or inquiries as directed by management.
Work collaboratively to ensure the implementation of security frameworks and compliance with data protection regulations.
Support Operations and HR departments in corporate governance efforts.
Oversee the management and operations of security teams at all VACs within the designated area.
Safeguard the safety of personnel within the VACs and implement preventive measures against incidents.
Manage security resources and budgeting for the region based on risk assessments.
Ensure all expenditures align with the risk profiles and approved budgets.
Maintain high levels of satisfaction from clients (Missions) concerning security management.
Research and promote best practices and costsaving initiatives in the security domain.
Conduct regular emergency drills and disseminate safety instructions to employees.
Ensure that security breaches or crises are managed swiftly and reported in accordance with the organizations security protocols.
Manage relationships with external security service providers and vendors.
Coordinate security resources to achieve costeffective risk management.
Deliver security awareness training and ensure all employees remain informed about security protocols.
Continuously monitor the politicalsecurity environment and promptly update the Operations team about potential risks.
Maintain constant vigilance and oversee the smooth functioning of security measures across all VAC centers.
Ensure the maintenance and operational efficiency of all security equipment.
Comply with all relevant security contracts policies and legal standards.
Support secure transportation of confidential business information.
Address security incidents quickly ensuring robust corrective measures are in place.
Conduct regular risk assessments of the VACs security setups and propose improvements.
Promote sustainable use of resources.
Follow the organizations environmental health and safety policies and objectives.
Bachelor s degree or higher preferably with additional postgraduate education.
Possession of certifications in security management is an advantage.
6 10 years of experience in military or corporate security environments with proven ability to manage security across multiple sites.
