Position Title: Research Assistant (IoT / Embedded Systems)
Department: Research and Development (R&D)
Location: Labtech Innovations Pune (Onsite/Hybrid)
Reports To: Research Lead / Project Supervisor
Qualification: in Electronics Electrical Embedded Systems IoT or related disciplines.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant with expertise in IoT Embedded Systems Microcontrollers and related technologies.
Candidates must have published research papers in Scopusindexed journals or conferences (mandatory eligibility criterion).

You will assist in research projects prototype development academic writing and experimentation in alignment with cuttingedge R&D initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design development and deployment of IoT systems sensor networks and embedded platforms.

  • Conduct simulations programming and hardware interfacing using tools like Arduino Raspberry Pi ESP32 STM32 etc.

  • Perform literature reviews and contribute to technical writing for research publications.

  • Analyze system performance document results and prepare research reports.

  • Assist in project proposal development technical documentation and grant writing if required.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for multidomain research activities.

  • Maintain strict adherence to data security confidentiality and project integrity protocols.


Eligibility Criteria

  • (completed or final semester) in IoT Embedded Systems Electronics Electrical Mechatronics Instrumentation or relevant streams.

  • At least one 2 Scopusindexed publication (journal or conference) is mandatory.

  • Strong interest and aptitude for research work prototyping and academic writing.




Requirements

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in micro controller programming (C C Python for hardware).

  • Handson experience with IoT protocols (MQTT HTTP BLE ZigBee LoRaWAN etc..

  • Familiarity with circuit design PCB design (good to have) and sensor integration.

  • Working knowledge of MATLAB Simulink (preferred but optional).

  • Strong documentation presentation and technical communication skills.


Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

  • Exposure to lowpower wireless communication systems.

  • Knowledge of security challenges in IoT systems.

  • Experience with publishing technical papers patents or case studies.
