Be part of our client s team as a Workers Compensation Policy Administrator where you will perform essential functions critical to policy management and client success. To ensure high performance individuals must carry out all responsibilities satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. Job Overview
Employment Type: Indefinite Term Type Contract
Shift: Monday to Friday 8:30 AM 5:30 PM CST
Work Setup: Remote/Work from Home
Your Daily Tasks
- Administer workers compensation policies including monopolistic state policies.
- Ensure policies remain in force and in good standing.
- Update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with all workers compensation policy information for assigned clients.
- Maintain current and accurate tasks for each assigned client in the CRM system.
- Submit payroll reports to carriers as required by policy terms.
- Complete all premium invoicing accurately and in a timely manner each month.
- Submit policy changes to the broker or carrier as needed.
- Collaborate with auditors to complete all required policy audits.
- Renew all assigned policies on time.
- Ensure class codes are accurate for all assigned policies.
- Assist with the cancellation of workers compensation policies when necessary.
- Support the payroll department in addressing payroll system errors related to administered workers compensation policies.
Requirements
The Qualifications We Seek
Skills & Experience
- 2 years of insurance agency or broker experience (preferably in an account manager role).
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with workers compensation policies (preferred but not required).
Computer Skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel.
- Experienced in using various software applications (CRM experience is a plus).
