Job Description

Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for finance We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our Corporate Finance team in our Auckland CBD office. If you thrive in a fastpaced environment and are ready to take on a critical role in overseeing financial operations we want to hear from you.

As our Finance Manager you will play a pivotal role in managing complex financial processes ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting our organisations financial goals. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and consolidate monthend reports ensure the integrity of the general ledger and provide accurate and timely reports to Executive Management and Department Heads.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets monthly and quarterly forecasts and provide actionable insights for business growth and cost control.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise mentor and develop finance staff fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Internal Controls & Compliance: Establish and maintain internal controls ensure compliance with financial regulations and lead efforts in financial audits.

Qualifications :

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field (Masters degree or professional certifications such as CPA CA preferred).
  • Experience: 5 years in finance or accounting with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of financial reporting budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Indepth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles. Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Systems & Software: Experience with financial software (e.g. ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills. Experience in SUN and TM1 would be an advantage.
