NBCUniversal recherche un directeur/directrice artistique chevronn avec une exprience dans les jeux AAA en monde ouvert pour aider dfinir la direction visuelle dun nouveau projet de divertissement ambitieux.
NBCUniversal is looking for a seasoned Art Director with experience in AAA openworld games to help shape the visual direction of an ambitious new entertainment project.
Responsabilits
- Dfinir et communiquer la vision artistique du projet en assurant la cohrence de tous les lments visuels.
- Assembler et diriger une quipe artistique de premier ordre y compris des artistes de personnages denvironnements procduraux et VFX/clairage.
- Collaborer troitement avec le directeur cratif et le directeur technique pour aligner les visuels avec les objectifs de jeu et techniques.
- Superviser la cration dactifs de haute qualit en veillant ce quils rpondent aux normes artistiques et techniques.
- Promouvoir linnovation en direction artistique en utilisant Unreal Engine 5 et Houdini pour repousser les limites visuelles.
- Grer les relations avec les partenaires de codveloppement et fournir des retours sur les actifs artistiques externaliss.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the artistic vision for the project ensuring consistency across all visual elements.
- Assemble and lead a toptier art team including character environment procedural and VFX/lighting artists.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and Tech Director to align visuals with gameplay and technical goals.
- Oversee the creation of highquality assets ensuring they meet artistic and technical standards.
- Champion innovation in art direction leveraging Unreal Engine 5 and Houdini to push visual boundaries.
- Manage relationships with codevelopment partners and provide feedback on outsourced art assets.
Qualifications :
Exigences de base :
- Plus de 12 ans dexprience dans lindustrie du jeu vido avec un accent sur le dveloppement de jeux AAA en monde ouvert.
- Un portfolio prsentant une direction artistique exceptionnelle dans des titres AAA expdis.
- Connaissance approfondie dUnreal Engine 5 et des pipelines de cration dactifs procduraux.
- Capacit avre diriger et inspirer de grandes quipes artistiques.
- Comptences solides en communication et en collaboration.
Caractristiques souhaites :
- Comptences solides en communication et en leadership avec une exprience de travail dans une organisation mondiale.
- Une comprhension approfondie de lindustrie du jeu des tendances actuelles et des prfrences des joueurs.
- Comptences en rsolution de problmes souci du dtail et capacit prosprer dans un environnement rapide.
Exigences supplmentaires:
- Hybride : Ce poste a t dsign comme hybride contribuant gnralement depuis le bureau au moins trois jours par semaine.

Basic Requirements:
- 12 years of experience in the video game industry with a focus on AAA openworld game development.
- A portfolio showcasing exceptional art direction in shipped AAA titles.
- Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 and procedural asset creation pipelines.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire large art teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Requirements:
- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid generally contributing from the NBCU Montreal office a minimum of three days per week.
