Job Description

Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager to support landbased drilling projects for municipal water well drilling. This role will play a critical part in ensuring Control Systems are programmed and automated for the highest level of efficiency and to the highest safety and quality standards. You will work with SCADA and PLC systems using your technical expertise while contributing to Project oversight in budget schedule delivery and production sustainability.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and oversight as well as handson maintenance and repairs to PLCs and SCADA systems in the drilling and pump rig operations across the territory.
  • Track project progress identify and mitigate potential risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company protocols.
  • Analyze projectrelated data and generate reports as required.
  • Continuously improve project management processes and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Meet regularly with managers and team at our Central Texas headquarters in Creedmoor TX.
  • Travel to client sites regularly for key project milestones to resolve project barriers and to manage key issues around the health and safety of our teams.

Qualifications :

  • An Associates degree in a related technical field is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in PLC programming and maintenance SCADA systems and related Control Panel support.
  • Experience in project engineering project coordination or project management is strongly preferred.
  • Experience within the drilling industry (water well oil & gas etc. is strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time within budget and to specification.
  • Understanding or strong interest in landbased drilling operations including relevant equipment techniques and regulations.
  • Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and related software (e.g. MS Project Atlassian tools Primavera).
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
  • Valid drivers license (may be required).
  • Ability to travel to client sites with some overnight stays required.
     


Additional Information :

Salary & Benefits:
This is a fulltime salaried position which offers an annual bonus tied to performance. The company offers full benefits including medical dental vision life and disability insurance; retirement savings plans; holiday and vacation; and continuous education and training. Salary will be commensurate with education training and experience. Our target range is around $75 to $90K Annual. Training within our specific industry processes customerbase technology tools and more will be provided. We want you to and need you to succeed!
