- Recording patient medical histories vitals test results and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Preparing treatment rooms for clinical examinations and assisting practitioners with medical and surgical procedures and other patient care.
- Sterilizing and preparing instruments.
- Delivering compassionate support attention and assistance to patients and families.
- Ensuring compliance with all health care regulations including HIPAA and OSHA.
- Scribing notes for Practitioners
- Answering phones scheduling appointments
- Other clerical duties may include but are not limited to faxing prior authorizations patient results phone calls lab and surgical paperwork.
Qualifications :
- High level of professionalism.

- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of electronic medical health care record systems.
- Excellent computer and phone skills.
Experience:
- Minor surgical procedure experience and Mohs preferred.
Job Type:
- FullTime: 45 days per week.
- Ability to be flexible to cover as needed greatly appreciated.
- Dermatology experience.
- Experience in MOHS assistance is a plus.
- Experience with and knowledge of EMR.
- Experience in assisting with minor surgical procedures.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
Certifications/Licenses:
- Medical Assistant Certification (Required).
