Position Summary:
Plans and performs a normal range of machine startups and adjustments material replenishment of plastic injection materials improving efficient and assuring quality specifications are met.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Start up machines per manufacturing requirements.
- Keep work area equipment clean and in accurate working condition.
- Works with Maintenance Technician to assure maximum machine uptime also perform all other task assigned by team leader as necessary.
- Identify and report safety hazards in the Intelex system.
- Willing to train individuals with the right attitude and skill set.
- Able to maintain preproduction floor by keeping jobs running and closing out IRS tickets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 25 yrs experience in Injection molding and set up experience required. Must know how to process and understand Injection machine process.
- Skills: Ability to read and interpret Blueprints perform basic math and use measuringinstruments like calipers and micrometers. Must have good Verbal and written communication skills and be able to use hand tools and operate equipment.
- Must be able lift minimum of 50 pounds.
- Excellent attendance record.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
- Strong problem solving abilities.
- Proven understanding of machine capacities of injection molding machines.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- 8 hour shifts. Days swing shift Night shift. Monday Friday with occasional weekend work.
- Factory work standing and walking most of the day.
- The temperature in the work area can vary so appropriate clothing is recommended see employee handbook for appropriate attire guidelines
