About the job

The Platform Services division is looking for an Emerging Career Software Developer to join a team of talented engineers working collaboratively to manage enhance and evolve shared firstparty and thirdparty Java libraries within our platform. Our mission is to ensure that our Java libraries serve as a robust and secure foundation for our platforms development empowering our teams to deliver exceptional solutions.

As an Emerging Career Software Developer you will:

• Design and develop highquality testable and scalable software solutions within established timelines while adhering to best practices and processes
• Participate in project scoping and scheduling; track progress of individual tasks and alert stakeholders of issues blocking or preventing completion of task.
• Ensure quality by creating and maintaining unit and integration tests.
• Maintain accountability for the entire life cycle of the code including support for both internal and external consumers.
• In collaboration with technical writers authors appropriate level of design and technical documentation that satisfies both internal and external consumers
• Collaborate with team members to implement innovative approaches to our evolving software architecture as product requirements dictate

Required qualifications

• 2 years of software development experience in Java
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• Familiarity with a CI/CD concepts withknowledge of GitHub Git Gradle or similar technology
• Familiarity with Agile development practices
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Spring Boot
• Familiarity with using Docker
• Familiarity with Golang
• Experience with cloud technologies and providers Kubernetes Azure AWS GCP OpenShift
