Duties & Responsibilities
- General Ledger Oversight: Own the general ledger for multiple entities keep our books balanced and accurate.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee the full AP/AR function ensuring clean reconciliations and timely reporting.
- Costing Analysis: Perform indepth costing and profitability analysis to guide smart business decisions.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver consolidated financial reports in line with accounting standards and regulations.
- MonthEnd & YearEnd Closures: Lead monthly and annual closing processes reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
- Xero Accounting: Use Xero (or similar) to manage financial data with accuracy and compliance.
- Audit Preparation: Assist with audit schedules and collaborate with external auditors for a smooth process.
- Process Improvement: Identify ways to streamline accounting processes and enhance financial reporting.
- SAIPAqualified with completed articles
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role (multicompany environment a plus)
- Advanced understanding of accounting principles costing and reporting standards
- Strong experience with Xero or similar accounting software
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
