We are looking for a motivatedChemicalorEnvironmental Engineering orEnvironmental Science/GeoscienceIntern to join our company. You will be involved with project work from your first day working sidebyside with experienced engineers and scientists to help clients address their water and environmental challenges. Duties and responsibilities vary based on level of experience and project expectations. An intern will generally shadow experienced professionals and participate as a member of a team by contributing to actual projects. Interns are able to apply what they have learned from the classroom via experience basedlearning.
This Internship Position will be based in our Great Falls MT Office.

What You Will Be Doing at Woodard & Curran:
- Duties and responsibilities vary based on level of experience and projectexpectations.

- Internsare able to apply what they have learned from the classroom via experience basedlearning.
- Interns will support field work including environmental monitoring and sampling
- Interns will support office work including data review and reporting
- Possible experience in the following: Various sampling and monitoring methods for soils sediments water and air contractor oversight and ArcGIS Pro Map generation.
What You Will Need To Succeed:
- The ideal candidate will be a second or thirdyearChemical/Civil/Environmental Engineering Geology or Environmental Sciences student.
- Specific classes taken should include a mix of the following: Surface Water Hydrology Wastewater Treatment Stormwater Design and hydraulics Soils Fluid Mechanics Water Quality Chemistry Groundwater Geology Environmental Geochemistry ArcGIS and Computer Aided Design & Drafting (CADD).
- An interest in site/civil engineering design groundwater collection and treatment site remediation and compliance are desired.
- An understanding of basic data analysis tools and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in CADD and/or ArcGIS completion of OSHA 40Hour HAZWOPPER certification course and prior field experience are a plus.

$18.45 $27.68 an hour

Retirement Savings:
401(k) Pretax or Roth Contributions: The company will match equal to 100 of the first 3 of salary contributed; all employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan and are 100 vested in the value of their own contributions and any employer matching contributions.
Time away from work:
Vacation time is provided to full and parttime regular employees. Vacation is accrued based on the number of hours worked per week as well as prior years of experience.
Woodard & Curran offers paid sick time to eligible employees who are absent due to their own nonwork related illness injury or medical procedure.
Woodard & Curran provides up to 80 hours of Paid Parental Leave for child bonding in a 12month period.
Companypaid short and longterm disability insurance from Sun Life to assist with replacing a portion of your income in the event of nonjobrelated illness or injury. Eligible employees are automatically enrolled and eligible immediately.
