Cosmetology Internship

This role gives Cosmetology students an opportunity to shadow and work with our hair artists with the intention of gaining experience while earning hours towards their Cosmetology License. Currently accepting applications for Summer 2025 apply today!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Shadows assists learns in one of our PENZONE Salon locations with a designated mentor
• Gains salon experience and earns hours towards a Cosmetology License
• Professionally interacts with guests and PENZONE team members
• Experiences the PENZONE brand gains understanding on what a future career would look like in our salons
• Follows all Ohio State Board of Cosmetology Internship compliance requirements
• Receives and recognizes all verbal written feedback provided by professionals with the intention to grow individual skills
• Builds knowledge and confidence as a new artist and as a professional
• Ensures school State board are provided with necessary paperwork tracked hours

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• 16 years of age or older
• Actively in a school program pursuing a state license in cosmetology have completed at least 750 hours
• Required to provide a letter of recommendation from Cosmetology Instructor
• Must successfully complete the PENZONE interview process to be selected for an internship position
