The Classes Supply Coordinator collaborates with their colleagues on organizing and coordinating all aspects of OMSI Classes supply needs including organization pickup delivery ordering and care.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates supply ordering and delivery;
- Organizes educational materials to ensure all items are prepared prior to each class;
- Researches and analyzes materials used in the Classes program;
- Maintains a safe work environment by following proper storage and transport procedures;
- Works cooperatively with the Senior Classes Supply Coordinatorand other Classes staffto ensure program supply needs are met.
Working Conditions
- This position is nonexempt paid hourly;
- This position is a special project fulltime scheduled for 40 hours/week;
- This position is scheduled to work June 1 2025 August 30 2025.
- This position requires working onsite at the museum location;
- Ability to bend stoop crawl and sit on the floor multiple times a day;
- Physical Demands: 40 sitting 10 standing 50 lifting/carrying/pushing up to 50 lbs.;

- Assists Senior Supply Coordinator with other daily operations of supply needs for summer classes including purchasing materials as needed;
- Provides first aid care to participants and staff when necessary;
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
REQUIREMENTS:
- Working knowledge of and/or ability to effectively practice project coordination;
- Demonstrated ability to pivot between individual and team work;
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite products;
- Exercises sound judgment while upholding high integrity and ethical standards;
- Strong interpersonal verbal and communication skills that adhere to confidentiality protocol and community agreements.
PREFERENCES:
- Experience working with machinery or chemicals;
- Developed knowledge of diversity equity and inclusion principles;
- Proficient or native fluency in a second language (nonEnglish).
Education & Work Experience
REQUIREMENTS:
- Combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelors Degree;
- Demonstrated experience or ability to work in a fastpaced environment often with stringent and overlapping time constraints;
- Demonstrated experience or ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds and talents in a professional work environment.
PREFERENCES:
- Warehouse experience is useful but not required.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Valid Drivers license and must meet the requirements in the MVR Policy including passing a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check;
