The Talent Acquisition Manager (TAM) is a key member of the RubinBrown Recruiting team. The TA Manager creates and implements effective strategies to source viable candidates and assess their suitability for open positions. This position works closely with the Service Unit leaders to attract identify and hire top talent. The TA Manager serves as an Advisor to firm leaders and hiring managers within the designated geography or operating unit. The TA Manager maintains relationships with recruiting agencies and campus alumni centers.
Major Responsibilities
- Conducts fullcycle recruiting for assigned job requisitions
- Actively screens and interviews candidates: phone video interviews and manages inoffice interviews
- Builds and develops a network and pipeline of experienced talent across service units and geography locations
- Directly sources candidates by cold calling utilizing social media (egLinkedIn Instagram Twitter) networking with external resources
- Serves as Lead Advisor to hiring teams on candidate assessment & screening interview feedback and other external candidate references
- Communicates frequently with internal clients (service unit leaders and partners) regarding skills gap needs and candidate pipeline alignment
- Coordinates preemployment assessments and investigations as they relate to candidate hiring and recruitment process
- Conducts recruitment correspondence with candidates including offer letters phone video and/or email status updates etc
- Cultivates and maintains the RubinBrown Alumni network
- Maintains integrity of data in applicant tracking system (ATS) as Super User
- Manages hiring process according to the firms policies and procedures for open positions
- Serves as active member of professional organizations and associations (ieAICPA State Society of CPAs ISACA ISSA SHRM NHRA IIA)
- All other duties as assigned
Preferred Experience/Background/Skills
- Bachelors degree in Business Human Resources Organizational Development or equivalent
- Professional Human Resources certification (PHR or SPHR) preferred
- Certified Diversity and Inclusion Recruiter (CDR) preferred
- Thirdparty recruiting agency or executive search experience preferred
- At least five years of related experience preferred
- Superior project management skills
- Superior client service skills including the ability to meet challenging client requirements and deadlines
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
- General knowledge of employment laws and practices
- Superior writing skills demonstrated or ability
- Critical Thinking and Analytical skills required
- Attention to detail required
- Ability to effectively utilize technology and a commitment to learn in the technology environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word Excel and PowerPoint) required
- Strict adherence to professional ethics with evident practice of confidentiality
Working Conditions
- The typical office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (in office 3 x week remote 2 x week)
- Periodic travel to other office locations 10 annually)
- Ability to work extra hours as determined by the workload and client expectations
- Ability to speak English to communicate with clients team members vendors etc
