Job Description

Finance Analyst
Summary:The Finance Analyst will provide analytical support to the Finance team and is responsible for developing implementing and analyzing data to drive insights to increase profits. The role will provide timely insightful userfriendly analytics and reports that enable sound business decisionmaking.
Essential Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
  • Build analytical tools and reports to support various business units to make positive improvements that impact sales operating expenses and profit.
  • Analyze business metrics by product mix gross margin units orders cost per unit average unit price and other sales and opex drivers
  • Support business departments with timely reports valueadded analysis and identify potential performance gaps recommend modifications to documents tools systems and/or processes
  • Develop forecast and customer financial modeling in support of business objectives
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics to senior management
  • Build a strong relationship with cross functional teams such as sales marketing and operations teams to gather relevant data and insights for analysis
  • Proactively identify internal best practices which may be implemented
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting Finance Business Economics or a related field; Masters Degree a plus
  • A minimum of 2 years in an analytical role in either Accounting Finance or Business
  • Solid spreadsheet skills including pivot tables lookup functions sum/count if formulas importing/exporting data etc.
  • General PC and MS Office applications
