Systems Electrical Inspector

JOIN OUR TEAM AS A SYSTEMS ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR

Are you an experienced electrical systems professional with a passion for delivering safe highperformance transit infrastructure Were looking for a Systems Electrical Inspector to support oversight on our Purple Line Light Rail Project.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide owner oversight of the electrical installation of light rail systems in compliance with project specifications and the National Electrical Code.
• Review the installation and onsite of electrical systems.
• Assist with coordination and of electrical system commissioning and testing activities.
• Monitor and document all electrical systems work and ensure accurate records are maintained.
• Communicate effectively with team members stakeholders and contractors to ensure successful project .
• Adapt to schedule changes and work flexible hours including nights and weekends as required to oversee system testing.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by supporting crossfunctional team efforts.

CORE REQUIREMENTS:

To excel in this role candidates must possess the following qualifications and abilities:

• Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5 years of experience in electrical system engineering testing and commissioning verification and validation or maintenance.
• Working knowledge of traction power and electrical systems.
• Able to walk over rough and uneven terrain; stand for up to 12 hours a day on occasion; and perform physical tasks such as bending stooping kneeling and twisting; using hands to grasp and reach; raising hands above the head; sitting; climbing; and balancing.
• Able to work in various weather conditions and terrains.
• Strong problemsolving organizational and communication skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience in rail transit electrical systems.
• Background in troubleshooting complex interfacing systems.
• Familiarity with applicable codes industry standards and project documentation procedures.
