Are you a people person Do you love helping others UHaul is in search of a friendly motivated person for the position of Storage Manager. As a Storage Manager you will work as part of a supportive team to be the face of UHaul companys exceptional service and ensuring that customers get all the help they need on their journeys by managing the storage facility. As well as assisting customers using uptodate technology to manage storage accounts and maintain unit status. We are looking for a UHaul team member that has a deep knowledge for Web Self Storage and the overall UHaul system.

Storage Manager Responsibilities:
To manage the centers storage statistics such as delinquency and occupancy.
Resolve customer problems efficiently and in a timely manner.
Conduct daily storage facility walk arounds and identify damage or discrepancies.
Reach out to storage tenants for any potential problems related to their storage account or unit.
Carry out actions such as suspended units or eviction notices to customers who commit infractions covered in their storage rental contract.
Assist customers inside and outside a UHaul center with UHaul products and services.
Use smartphonebased UScan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
Other duties as assigned
Participate in ongoing continuous UHaul education through UHaul University.
Assist other departments as needed.
Storage Manager Minimum Qualifications:
Valid drivers license and ability to maintain a good driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
An Active UHaul Team Member for at least 6 months.
Work Environment:
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions e.g. working around moving parts or machines fumes or irritant chemicals. May be required to use protective clothing or gear such as masks goggles gloves or shields.
Physical Demands:
The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of remaining stationary moving around indoors and outdoors positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
