The intern role is a key support towards Cytivas current facility expansion and process equipment qualification efforts here in Logan Utah. You will work with various engineering disciplines and departments. These teams specialize in electromechanical design equipment automation controls facilities quality validation and manufacturing value streams. Your internship experience will include learning professional skills business acumen receiving feedback and key networking opportunities. Your work will contribute to the facility following ISO 13485 quality management and regulatory standards designed to provide safe quality products that help save lives.
What youll do:
- Work closely and in coordination with the site EHS Lead & Industrial Hygiene/Occupation Health Supervisor to learn and understand the role of an EHS Specialist in a production setting.
- Working with the site IH/OH Supervisor assist in finalizing the site IH programs as well as the development of the site Risk Assessments 4EHC) and the site annual sampling plan.
- Based on the site annual sampling plan conduct IH monitoring to determine associate occupational exposures. Document monitoring results develop reports communicate with Value Stream (production area) owners and associates etc.
- Complete other IH or safety related projects as assigned by EHS Lead.
Who you are:
- Currently enrolled in a collegebased program in occupational health and safety or other related field seeking an internship opportunity.
- Ability to work independently once direction is provided and work in a fastpaced and highly dynamic environment.
- Basic understanding and/or use of Microsoft Excel Powerpoint Word.
