Job Description
CNC Recruitment is currently recruiting parttime Bartenders to support the bar and catering operations at a busy private sports facility near Sherborne. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fun friendly and social environment with flexible hours and great staff benefits.
Youll be a key part of the bar and catering team ensuring members and guests receive excellent service daytoday and during events. From setting up the bar and serving drinks to handling cash and keeping the space clean and welcoming youll be at the heart of the hospitality experience.
Location: Sherborne Dorset
Job type: Fix Term Contract April to October (potential for permanent)
Salary: 12.21 12.82 an hour
Schedule: Flexitime minimum 15 hours per week Weekdays weekends evenings until approx. 9:15 p.m.
Requirements
- Provide excellent service to members and visitors
- Set up and close the bar and catering area before and after service
- Serve beverages and snacks quickly and efficiently
- Handle customer queries and minor complaints with professionalism
- Maintain a clean safe and welcoming environment
- Follow licensing regulations and company policies
- Support event preparation and service
- Operate tills handle cash and manage floats responsibly
- Communicate clearly with team members and management
What Were Looking For:
Essential:
- 1 year of bartending or bar service experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A flexible teamoriented mindset
- Availability to work evening shifts and weekends (until 9:15 p.m.
- Friendly customerfocused attitude
- Ability to work under pressure and use your initiative
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or sports club environment
- Knowledge of licensing laws and safe alcohol service
