Job Description

Student Worker Service Desk Assistant

Number of Openings: 7

Purpose/Objective of the Role:

  • Assisting library patrons

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Staffing the Service Desk.
  • Checking in and checking out patron materials assisting with the computers and printer helping patrons locate items sorting shelving shelf reading processing the daily shipments of materials helping students connect with a librarian for research help and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • This position involves direct interaction with students faculty staff and visitors
  • We are looking for workers who possess good customer service skills while maintaining a professional manner with peers
  • Worker must be reliable
