Job Description
The primary function of this position is to serve as a Clinical Research Psychologist for clinical trials involving delivery of Contingency Management for Veterans with medical and surgical conditions.
The primary responsibilities of the interventionist will include:
- Direct administration of and consultation with psychology trainees in administration of a psychological assessment (MINI Neuropsychiatric Inventory) and delivery of behavioral coaching for tobacco cessation (motivational interviewing techniques included)
- Fidelity monitoring of contingency management intervention for tobacco cessation; and
- Documenting visits in CPRS and REDCap.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $47.66 $86.06 (Hourly Rate).

Current valid license in California as a psychologist. Out of state licensed psychologist have 180 days to complete licensure requirements in the State of California.
