C3 AI is seeking a Senior/LeadFullStack Software Engineer with a frontend focus to join ourPlatform UIteam located onsite in Redwood City. ThePlatformUIteam providesbothUI framework and rich component library to accelerate application development through lowcode JSON configurations. The UI framework bundles and compiles JSON and C3 Types into TypeScript code enabling users to leverage and extend the C3 UI for building their own applications. The component library features over 100 layout workflow and user interface components that are easy to configure integrate with underlying data and analytics optimized for performance customizable for theming and supportive of translations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design development and maintenance of a performant and scalable UI framework for the Platform UI team. Key functional areas include bundling runtime performance localization accessibility application state management telemetry code coverageetc
- Develop and enhance tools for application development and data science enabling the rapid creation of endtoend AI applications.
- Collaborate closely with PM UX Designers QA and Application Engineers.
- Lead crossteam technical design discussions on framework architecture UI components UX backend and thirdparty integration and testing.
- Quickly address bugs solve problems and proactively work to improve our products and technologies.
- Manage individual project deliverables and mentor junior team members on industry coding standards and design techniques.
- Contribute to team building and foster a culture of innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related fields.
- Familiarity with frameworks and technologies such asReact HTML CSS JavaScript Typescript Java.
- Basic understanding of design systems and UI/UX principles.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in engineering sciences or related field.
- Knowledge of distributed systems testdriven development Type system and performance optimization tools.
- Experience in leading engineering teams and projects.
- Ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
