Overview
Position:Injury Prevention Specialist Minneapolis MN
Location: 7500 Airline Dr Minneapolis MN 55450
Schedule: Full time:
Monday Friday 5am 11pm 810 hour shifts)
Compensation:Commensurate with experience starting at $60000 annual base.
NovaCare Rehabilitation is currently hiring a fulltime Injury PreventionWorkStrategies Specialist for an industrial setting. This is a great opportunity for an exercise physiologist or individual of similar background. This role will be covering only at our ACS site with a consistent schedule.

Responsibilities
- Fulltime Onsite coverage for industrial client under the direction of Account/Program Manager
- Delivery of full continuum of Onsite Injury Prevention Services at assigned location. Prevention Services include:
- Assessment triage and first aid application for workplace injury/discomfort
- Ergonomic risk assessment and implementation of ergonomic solutions
- Design and implementation of functional assessments preventative exercise and stretching
- Job coaching and behavior modification both oneonone and in group settings
- Providing education and training on a wide range of injury prevention topics
- Office ergonomics
- Health and wellness consultation
- Document and report on employee encounters
- Regular communication with both client and Select leadership
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from accredited physical therapist occupational therapist physical therapy assistant occupational therapist assistant EMT or athletic training program
- OR a degree in fitness exercise or rehab related discipline
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum one year experience
- CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an industrial setting
