Pathology and Cytology Laboratories LLC along with Chipps Caffrey & Dubilier P.S.C. specializes in Anatomic Pathology Cytopathology Hematopathology GI Pathology Clinical Laboratory Consultations and Laboratory Medical Directorships. Established in 1967 we deliver the highest quality service and professional expertise to physicians clinics and hospitals.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee our organizations ongoing operations and procedures. The COO will be a key member of the executive team responsible for driving operational excellence and ensuring that our business strategies align with our overall goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities who can effectively manage resources improve processes and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daytoday operations of the company ensuring efficient and effective management across all departments.

• Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the companys objectives and enhance overall business performance.

• Oversee project management initiatives ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

• Manage change management processes to support organizational growth and adaptation in a rapidly evolving market.

• Supervise departmental managers providing guidance and support to enhance their effectiveness in achieving operational goals.

• Drive business development efforts by identifying new opportunities for growth and expansion.

• Forecast operational needs and allocate resources accordingly to optimize productivity.

• Implement process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and reduce costs while maintaining highquality standards.

• Prepare budgets and monitor financial performance to ensure operational efficiency.

• A proactive approach to problemsolving with a focus on process improvement initiatives.

• Seasoned pathology manager or officer with experience in Histology Cytology IHC FLOW and Molecular technologies

• Facilitative leader our success has come from personal investment in the management by education modeling behaviors understanding motivation etc.

• Growth oriented with some proven history of growth

• Strong contract writing ability

• Strong HR knowledge

• Strong financial knowledge with the ability to do proformas etc. and understand the basics of growthoriented financial analysis.

• Strong in SixSigma/Lean preferred a solid data driven systems perspective manager

• Strong in documentation and written communication but especially in face to face communication.

• Knowledge of digital imaging and able to assist with application of digital AI selection and deployment

• Knowledge of billing and financials for an anatomic business experience with hospital financial systems but also with independent lab business operations and financials.
