Reports To: Executive Pastry Chef Pastry Sous Chef
Handdecorate cookies and pastries with precision and creativity.
Work with chocolate piping and fine pastry techniques to elevate our desserts.
Prepare pastries according to recipes and quality standards.
Operate mixers ovens scales and other baking equipment.
Accurately scale interpret and troubleshoot recipes as needed with direction from Executive Pastry Chef.
Maintain the highest standards of sanitation safety and cleanliness in all pastry areas.
Attend team meetings for training development and updates.
Support events and holiday productions as needed.
13 years of professional baking experience in a highquality kitchen.
Strong handdecorating and piping skills interview may include a piping exercise.
Open availability to accommodate business scheduling needs.
Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where flexibility is key.
Lift and carry 50 lbs regularly up to 100 lbs occasionally.
Stand for extended periods up to 4 hours at a time).
Work in extreme temperatures (cold storage at 30F kitchens above 100F).
Ability to bend kneel reach and squat frequently.
Strong sense of taste and smell for quality control.
