Job Description
Title: Counter Server Union Patisserie (PM Shift)
Compensation: $14$16/hr tips; Benefits available for fulltime employees
Location: Park City Utah
Exciting opportunity for a growing restaurant group led by James Beard Award Winning Chef Galen Zamarra located in the heart of Park City Utah an internationally renowned ski destination. The counter server will be part of the team at Union Patisserie a craft coffee and pastry boutique selling breads prepared foods and drinks including beer and wine. They will be responsible for greeting guests taking orders processing payments and the delivery of food and beverage. There is extensive room for growth with future phases including a boutique hotel a luxury residential development the Marcella Club at the new Mayflower ski resort and a Tiger Woods designed golf course.
Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Cafe Manager the counter server will offer a high standard of hospitality service. They will be responsible for greeting guests in a polite manner and for providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance through the ordering and payment process. They will also oversee the correct and efficient collection and delivery of food and beverage to the customers as well as the upkeep and cleanliness of the restaurant inline with standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines.

- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to interact in a positive manner with customers and prevent or resolve conflicts
- Excellent listening and communications skills to effectively interact with coworkers and customers
- Strong teamwork abilities to work efficiently in a fast paced and highvolume environment
- Attention to detail to manage specific customer requests
- Time management and organizational skills to work efficiently and effectively.
- Basic computer literacy
Work Experience: Prior cafe / restaurant experience is preferred
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Required Skills:
- Must speak and read English at a good level and have the legal ability to work in the United States
- Ability to work afternoon/PM shifts
- Must have Department of Health Certifications
Physical Requirements:
- Most work tasks are performed indoors with only minimal outdoor activity.
- Position requires standing and/or walking most of the working day.
- Requires grasping writing standing sitting walking repetitive motions bending climbing listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. Ability to stand for long hours and lift 50lbs.
