The Boeing CompanyBoeings Battlespace Simulation Software team in Hazelwood MO is seeking an Experienced Product Manager to oversee and guide several teams. As a Product Manager you will be the interface between key stakeholders and the BSM agile software engineering organization. You will be responsible for managing the entire product life cycle. Your role includes project management earned value management (EVM) performance monitoring business analysis and scrum master. You will be collaborating with software engineering teams and the program to maintain a common vision and deliver winning products.
BSM is responsible for the design development manufacture and maintenance of training devices for a wide variety of commercial and military aircraft everything from F15 fighter jets to Apache attack helicopters and even NASAs Starliner spacecraft. Software engineers on our team are responsible for all phases of the software lifecycle including architecture design implementation and test. They are also directly involved in planning their own work as part of the agile methodology with a focus on technical excellence.
The BSM team is a large software development team comprised of several smaller agile teams some with specialized skills. Our backlog includes everything from new feature development using cuttingedge technology to maintenance of legacy software baselines. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working in an often fastpaced environment within a twoweek sprint schedule.
To be successful as a product manager in this role you must possess strong communication and presentation skills and have a firm grasp of agile practices and possess the ability to effectively manage and mentor development teams. An outstanding product manager should have excellent interpersonal project management and problemsolving skills.

Position Responsibilities:
Product Manager
o Provide technical business and integration leadership to software engineering projects
o Support proposal development and lead engineering by identifying activities resources and tasks required to complete the work statement
o Maintain Earned Value Management Metrics and manage project performance to plan
Scrum Master
o The Scrum Master will partner with the Product Owner or other Technical Leads to support product backlog definition/refinement/prioritization to feed sprints cycles.
o Participate/Lead Community of Proactive (CoP) meetings and drive process improvements across the organization
o The Scrum Master is responsible for coordinating and leading Agile ceremonies tracking team metrics ticket creation and Preparing and presenting status reports to stakeholders.
General
o Investigate analyze and recommend opportunities that drive quality and process improvements
o Manage product release schedules and release activities
o Assure the development teams products effectively addresses program priorities while maintaining technical integrity and cost and schedule targets
o Advocate recommend & champion process improvements and corrective actions to address lessons learned
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years of experience in project management
3 years of experience in project engineering
1 years of experience in Scrum Master role
Experience with product development in an Agile environment
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified SAFe Scrum Master
3 years of experience on a product development team using agile/scrum
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications (SP SSM SASM POPM SPC)
Experience with aircraft platforms aviation simulation and training systems is beneficial
Familiar with Microsoft Project
Software Engineering Experience
