Location: Trinidad Colorado
We are looking for a Journeyman Electrician to work on commercial locations in the Trinidad CO area to work under the direction of our Master Electrician. We provide great benefits and a steady work schedule. We are looking for someone with solid trouble shooting skills and a good knowledge of proper safety procedures. Job Duties:
- Installation of electrical components in new buildings or remodels/restorations.
- Repair electrical issues by replacing or installing components wiring or devices.
- Determine the steps necessary to assess an electrical situation using testing devices blueprints and maps.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements and also through reporting violations of policies procedures and guidelines to immediate supervisor.
- Use ladders scaffolding platforms and lifts to work on electrical systems.
Job Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of commercial installations
- Proficiency with the National Electrical Code and Local Codes.
- Valid Drivers License and clean driving record.
- Must pass criminal background and drug test
- Valid Colorado Electrical License
- Previous experience working on residential or commercial electrical systems.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints
- Understand and able to install fire alarm systems.
