The Team

The Recruitment Centre of Excellence at Norton Rose Fulbright is a key part of the wider Talent and Reward function within the People and Culture department. The team is responsible for the attraction and hire of talent across the 22 offices within the EMEA business including: Early Careers recruitment and Experienced Hire recruitment (including legal staff and business services hires). The Early Careers Recruitment Manager EMEA will be responsible for facilitating a bestinclass recruitment experience for candidates and internal stakeholders. Reporting into the Head of Recruitment EMEA you will have demonstrable experience of delivering a high impact recruitment service ideally from Law or Professional Services with a desire to use that specialist knowledge to make a significant impact on the firm.

Our office is based right next to Tower Bridge and within striking distance of The City. The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Manage the Early Careers recruitment team to deliver across legal graduate legal apprentice business services graduate and apprentice and other Early Career programmes within the firm.

  • Partner with the leadership teams to identify and shape current and future needs for early talent.

  • Collaborate with the incountry HRBP teams to enable the delivery of a bestpractice consistent service to each region.

  • Develop insight and knowledge into hiring areas and provide updates on key recruiting trends to hiring managers.

  • Ensure that hiring managers have the skills and tools to hire the talent needed.

  • Demonstrate a progressive recruitment approach and a continuous improvement mindset working collaboratively with colleagues to improve the recruitment service for managers and candidates.

  • Focus on strategies to develop the Norton Rose Fulbright employer brand within the Early Careers market including and not limited to: Schools Universities DEI partners so that we are positioned as an employer of choice within our operating markets.

  • Regularly conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends salary benchmarks and best practices in early talent recruitment.

  • Create and maintain content related to the promotion of Early Career roles and development of the employment brand.

  • Manage stakeholder recruitment relationships internally and externally and lead the relationship with the Partners sponsoring early talent.

  • Creating inclusive and innovative assessments to bring out the strengths of applicants and align them to our core behaviours and values.

  • Manage candidate engagement throughout the Early Careers recruitment process and provide support and guidance to deliver a class leading candidate experience.

  • Maintain regular communication with other business services teams involved in the process such as HR Finance and HR Service Delivery team.

  • Promote inclusive practices through the hiring process to positively impact diversity and inclusion through talent acquisition.

  • Monitor the effectiveness of past recruitment strategies including the ROI of suppliers and routes to market.

  • Manage the assessment process driving consistency and best practice throughout internal and external processes.

  • Build your own industry networks and participate in Early Careers events to promote careers within NRF.

  • Lead recruitment team projects that will impact Early Careers recruitment such as: developing best practice assessment for hiring early talent.

  • Identify and implement technology solutions to streamline the recruitment process.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience from within a Law firm or Professional Services environment is desirable or an indepth market expertise within Early Careers.

  • Indepth understanding of talent acquisition best practice a true subject matter expert and a trusted advisor to the business.

  • Proven success in developing attraction campaigns with a focus on the acquisition of talent from a diverse background.

  • Can demonstrate a flexible and collaborative working style with ability to deliver under pressure.

  • Highly skilled at building relationships to engage and gain credibility with senior stakeholder.

  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritise tasks.

  • Ability to work in a high volume fastpaced environment.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.

  • A positive and proactive attitude.

  • Resilience with the confidence to deliver difficult messages.

  • An excellent team player.

  • Strong MS office skills are essential.
