Created in 1993 LAHSA is a joint powers authority of the city and county of Los Angeles. As the lead agency in the HUDfunded Los Angeles Continuum of Care we coordinate and manage over $800 million annually in federal state county and city funds for programs providing shelter housing and services to people experiencing homelessness.

Under the leadership of the Director Risk Management this position is primarily responsible for administering developing and implementing policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the daily operations of LAHSA Enterprise Grant Management System (EGMS). LAHSA EGMS is the primary point of access for organizations applying for and receiving LAHSA funding. LAHSA EGMS is also critical to grantmaking workflows legal compliance communications documentation reporting and payment. As the EGMS expert the position is primarily responsible for systems administration staff training specialized reporting and technical assistance for staff and external stakeholders. The Grant Management Systems Administrator works cooperatively with LAHSA staff to develop solutions for tracking needs and/or issues. This position will be a technical liaison between IT staff and the external vendors. The Grant Management Systems Administrator works independently exercising judgement and discretion with multiple staff levels.

This position is responsible for the daily operations of the Audit and Investigation division at LAHSA. This position is responsible for conducting intensive investigations surrounding allegations of fraud waste and abuse including collecting and evaluating evidence determining violations of laws and regulations preparing requests for criminal complaints and assisting in the prosecution of cases. Incumbents must exercise a good working knowledge of techniques laws and regulations. Additionally the individual may coordinate and collaborate with others to meet performance outcomes requirements and compliance. When directed they will also act as the representative for the organization in cultivating and maintaining collaborative working relationships with staff partners key stakeholders and other community partners.
