About the Role:
We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive Automation QA Engineer with 35 years of experience specializing in Java and Selenium SQL API testing and manual testing. In this role youll ensure the quality and reliability of our software through robust testing practices and active collaboration with the development team.
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
Execute and validate API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
Write and run SQL queries to verify data accuracy and integrity.
Conduct manual testing to support exploratory testing and edge cases.
Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning reviews and daily standups.
Identify document and track bugs and issues using tools like JIRA.
Ensure proper test coverage and maintain test documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
35 years of experience in Software QA with a strong focus on Automation Testing using Java and Selenium.
Solid knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries.
Experience with API testing using RESTful services.
Proven understanding of manual testing processes.
Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (e.g. TestNG JUnit).
Exposure to test management and bug tracking tools (e.g. JIRA TestRail).
Strong analytical troubleshooting and communication skills.
Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI).
Education:
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
