Your mission
What does a Compliance Intern do you might ask
Well this role is allowed to do the best part of our everyday work to still the hunger for sustainable energy!
You will play a crucial role in supporting the development and management of the internal compliance systems and conducting indepth compliance and policy research.
In a little more detail this is what you will do in your day to day job:
- Conduct research on laws regulations and policy developments across the EU and UK with a focus on renewable energy sectors.
- Monitor legislative changes affecting compliance and prepare comprehensive reports and concise summaries on regulatory trends providing actionable recommendations to internal teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams to draft and update compliance policies and procedures ensuring alignment with regulatory frameworks and business needs.
- Oversee the daytoday operations of the compliance inquiry system handle standard requests distribute existing policies and documents and escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams.
- Leverage AI tools and data analytics to enhance risk identification analysis and monitoring processes.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to foster a culture of risk awareness and proactive management throughout the organization.
- Perform administrative tasks such as organizing and summarizing meetings collecting feedback from various departments and ensuring smooth communication within the team.
Your profile
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with an undergraduate or graduate degree in Law Social Sciences Humanities or related fields.
- Experience: Previous internship experience in compliance is advantageous.
- Skills:Strong research capabilities; Excellent writing and presentation skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant research and productivity tools.
- Characteristics: Demonstrates effectiveness in a fastpaced and dynamic work environment; Technologically adept with a strong interest in compliance and regulatory issues.
- Languages: Fluency in English is required (C1 while additional languages are a plus.
