Summer Camp Counselor
St. Andrews Parks and Playground is searching for several Camp Counselors for our summer camp program. The ideal teammate is passionate about working with children and is excited to be part of a team that has enriched lives through parks recreation and wellness for over 75 years!
This is a great position for fun individuals who love caring for and developing children 5 12 years of age. Also a great way to earn experience for Early Education or similar college majors while making money!
This is a seasonal position that runs during the summer break. Camp Counselors may be located at one of three locations where camps take place: the gymnasium at 1095 Playground Road and/or Family Fitness Plus at 1642 Sam Rittenberg Blvd and/or Forest Lakes Park at 1820 Gun Club Road. Experienced camp counselors may be selected as Leads or Managers at the higher end of the pay range noted below.
If you like playing games and doing other fun activities with children and can work halfday or fullday shifts during the summer we would like to hear from you!
Summer Camps will run from June 2 2025 to August 8 2025. Paid precamp training sessions will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on select dates between May 12 to June 2. Attendance at precamp training sessions is mandatory however exceptions may be made on a case by case basis with approval from the Program Director.

Salary / Pay Rate: $13.25 $15.50 per hour depending on experience
