How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
Supervision and coordination of the multidisciplinary (e.g. piping civil and structural steel mechanical electrical instrumentation and process controls) engineering activities
Managing internal and external interfaces
Preparing the engineering concept and strategy plan and split scope between E&C centers or Engineering subcontractor
Reviewing the request for quotation and coordinating together with proposal Manager the associated comments/deviations from the disciplines
Preparing technical offer including all example documents list of deviations/exclusions clarify scope of work
Reviewing/challenging the man hours estimation and the schedule
Coordinating with the Procurement and Inspection the split of scope and interfaces with Engineering and reviewing the Procurement Strategy (Project Procurement Plan Split of scope for inspections activities)
Supporting Head of Department in conducting departmental knowledge sharing
Developing/improving working procedures of the department when required
Acting as a mentor/coach for project engineers
Participating or providing input in the annual appraisal process for Project Engineers or Lead Engineers working on the project.
Are you a MATCH
Min 10 years of experience in Design &Engineering of Projects in Oil & Gas Energy Refining Petrochemicals Chemicals Polymer Oleo Chemicals
Strong ability in technical matters with an emphasis on safe compliant reliable efficient and practical solutions
Strong knowledge of applicable engineering principles processes and tools within the respective discipline
Understands interrelations between different Engineering Disciplines as well as other functions and works towards the optimized solution challenges the engineering team to achieve project Objectives
Strong Knowledge of project in the EPC Industry
Able to define an engineering plan and split scope between E&C centers or Engineering subcontractor
Enables Project Engineers to develop their skills and abilities and encourages a Learning Culture; provides support and constructive feedback for performance improvement and competency development
Ability to build relationship and good work atmosphere within the team
Motivates the team by example and emphasize success during the project
Efficient delegation of work and management of task skills force members by objectives.
Education: Bachelor or Master of Engineering or similar.
Language: Fluent English as minimum. Other languages are considered a beneficial skill set however not a must.
