What you will be doing:

As a Scrum Master with Global Payments you will lead new rollouts of the products that handle billions in payments each year. This is the core of our business and we have an ambitious product roadmap we need you to deliver. Youll work with the product and business teams to deliver new offerings in the products that thousands of businesses depend on to accept payments online. Youll be responsible for continuously improving Agile processes in your team and the wider organisation. Youll drive our Agile maturity working with teams using Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery DevOps and other advanced technical practices. In short youll own a key part of our development future and get to deliver some cool stuff.

What you will be responsible for:

• We get things done right; youll need to ensure teams are following the values and practices of Scrum

• Were a delivery oriented bunch; commitment and delivering early often and to plan is critical

• We work as one team so you will assist team members (Dev QA Ops. to ensure sprint and release goals are achieved

• You will lead the standard scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning release planning standups retrospectives and scrum of scrums. Youll use your experience of advanced collaborative engagement techniques in these ceremonies to create high performing development teams

• Youll own issue and risk management for your projects solving problems and working to remove impediments to both the team and the overall release

• Were a collaborative lot; youll work with Product Managers on a daily basis

• Were obsessed with getting better at what we do; youll evangelise and continuously improve our ways of working and Agile delivery

• Youll have responsibility for reporting at sprint and release level as well as gathering actionable metrics for your teams

• We work in a fastmoving agile setup so expect to pitch in with other responsibilities from time to time also

What qualities you will bring:

Technical Expertise

• Experience as a Scrum Master for at least 6 years with a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles practices and theory.

• Expert in agile project management and Scrum Knowledge of other Agile approaches desirable: XP Kanban DAD FDD etc.

• As a technologist you will be fully conversant with all aspects of software systems and processes

Planning & Delivery

• Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills

• A proven ability to deliver on software projects in a fastpaced environment

• Strong experience in agile development and project delivery practices

• Experience of the technology tools and techniques that support agile development (e.g. Jira CI/CD Storymapping)

• Scrum and/or project management industry qualifications are an advantage

• Committed to high quality amongst delivery teams in project documentation delivery processes and outputs and seek continuous improvement of these
