GC Associates USA requires a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in server technologies virtualization and infrastructure management with a strong focus on security compliance data center management and endpoint security solutions. You will work in a fastpaced highdemand environment ensuring the reliable and secure operation of critical systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage configure and maintain Windows and Linux server technologies including Active Directory Group Policy Management and PKI implementation.
- Oversee and optimize VMWare infrastructure to ensure the scalability performance and reliability of virtualized systems.
- Administer SAN/Blade and Rack server infrastructures ensuring smooth and efficient operation of storage systems.
- Implement and enforce Information Security requirements in line with IAVA/M and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) compliance.
- Configure and monitor Host Based Security System (HBSS) and Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) implementations including managing and ensuring compliance with Fragmentary Orders (FRAGORD).
- Apply and enforce DoD and DoN Cybersecurity controls including the use of STIGs SRRs and ACAS implementation.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to plan and execute disaster recovery preparedness and policybased backup applications.
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE:
Education: A Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college or university in an engineering scientific business or technical discipline is required.
Experience: Eight years of experience in the Information Technology field with experience in Windows and/or Linux server technologies including Active Directory Group Policy Management and PKI implementation.
Five of the eight years should include experience in:
- VMWare Infrastructure and SAN/Blade and Rack Server infrastructure
- Implementing information security requirements and ensuring compliance with IAVA/M and DISA STIGs
- Configuring and monitoring Host Based Security System (HBSS) and Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS)
- Applying DoD or DoN Cybersecurity controls including STIGs SRRs and ACAS
- Managing fiber channel fabric/zoning/LUN
- Administering and deploying NetApp and Rack Server architecture or equivalent platforms
- Preparing and executing disaster recovery plans using policybased backup applications
Substitution of Experience for Education: If the candidate does not meet the education and experience requirements 12 years of IT experience can be considered equivalent. Eight of those 12 years should include experience with Windows and/or Linux server technologies including Active Directory Group Policy Management and PKI implementation. Five of those 12 years should include experience in the areas listed above. Experience may overlap.
